Here are some of the comments we receive from

Associates and Practitioners that we work with.

Kim Smith-Bingham -Anivac and Equissage

I have known Fred and Rowena Cook for 8 years and in that time have been able to observe their work at close hand.  They have a remarkable affinity with horses and have the patience and knowledge to bring out the best from horses of all disciplines. Hence the decision by Equissage to sponsor them.

Georgina Sim - McTimoney Chiropractor - Bsc (hons) P.G Dip Animal Manipuation

When horses suffer from back, neck, pelvis and musculoskeletal problems, they can benefit greatly from McTimoney manipulation. It is a safe, non-invasive technique, which most animals accept quite readily.

I have had the privilege of working with Fred and Rowena for the past 3 years, treating various horses which have come to their yard for training. Their sympathetic approach and handling gives me great confidence in treating some of the more difficult and nervous horses. I am confident that the rigorous rehabilitation programmes and after care treatment they provide contribute towards making the McTimoney manipulation a very successful treatment. Therefore, with such consistency in their follow up exercises, schooling and training, many of the patients have been able to fulfil their racing, eventing or dressage ambitions. Fred and Rowena also strongly believe in horses benefiting from continual preventative treatment. These horses are natural athletes and they acknowledge that ‘fine tuning’ whether it be musculoskeletal, teeth or tack, will help them perform at their very best.

Fred and Rowena run a friendly and inviting yard, with happy, content horses. It is a pleasure working for them.

Phillippa Coles - Massage4horses International Limited

Through my working relationship with E.M.T I have found that they have consistently displayed an ability to read and develop each horse as an individual.  Their commitment to cementing a bond with each horse enables them to install a positive and confident partnership with young horses and reinvent the human-equus bond with difficult horses.

Their commitment to equine welfare is displayed in their constant review of new training methods and products and evolution and sharing of their knowledge with owners, riders and fellow equine professionals.  The happy, calm and stable environment on the yard enables new horses to settle in with ease and the longer term horse to relax and reflect upon the days work.

Each horse has opportunity and time to investigate what life has to offer and this I feel is the reason why E.M.T has had and continues to generate positive development of the ridden horse.
